Fuchsia’s look like dancing ballerina’s with a colorful dress, you cannot but love them and they are really easy plants, they are a bit tender and most are shade loving and like a bit of moist but some like a spot in the sun and others are really very winterhardy. But they all look pretty !
FUCHSIA TRIPHYLLA (triphylla’s like a spot in the sun but are very tender)
FUCHSIA TRIPHYLLA ANDENKEN AN HEINRICH HENKEL
FUCHSIA PAPY RENE
FUCHSIA MAGELLANICA MAGELLANICA (this one is very winterhardy, it is a bush up to 2 meters high and you cut it back very hard in Spring)
Have a great day all !
As we get warmth and rain everything is growing like mad and flowers are opening every day.
FUCHSIA, it is nameless as the shops just sell them under the name “fuchsia”, it is frustrating as I don’t know if it likes shade or sun or if it is winterhardy or not.
SYRINGA VULGARIS BEAUTY OF MOSCOW, the flowers are snowwhite but the buds are a smokey lilac
IRIS PSEUDACORUS or yellow pond iris in the back, the leafs are like swords, they clean the water in the pond, in the front is CALTHA PALUSTRIS, also a good water cleaner, the fishing wire is for keeping the herons from eating our fish.
FIG, my fig tree is comming to life and the figs are growing now, the figs have overwintered as tiny peas so as soon as the weather gets warmer the tiny figs start to grow.
I hope your are all having a wonderful week !
We have an early Autumn this year, the sun is still shining and the temperatures are still ok but you can see the plants are tired and want to go to sleep. But I still have some colour in the garden too. Here are todays pictures.

We are having a heathwave ! We go from cold to hot in one day, we can’t cope with it nor can the plants. And it has been extremely dry for a while, we live on sandy gound that dries out very quickly. But never the less, I enjoy it, everything grows and grows, with a little help of the waterhose ofcourse. We can eat outside morning, noon and evening with a nice view on the whole garden. What more do you want ??!

It is definitely Autumn and the garden is not really pretty but here and there are blooms and pretty leafs. Autumn is not my favorite season as we can’t sit in the garden or eat on the terrace, it will take about 7 months for us to do that again.
FUCHSIA’S, FOR ME ONE OF THE PRETTIEST POTPLANTS WHO GO ON BLOOMING TILL THE FIRST FROSTS.
