Last year we went to the South of France for our vacation. And look what I found ; piece of an old grape stump, it is now sitting pretty on my garden table and each day it reminds me of my beautiful vacation in France. Just imagine how much delicious wine this grape bush produced !??

My fridge broke down and died today, luckily there wasn’t much in it and all that was lost was some cheese which went to feed the birds. This made me ponder about our reliance on fridges and what things people often keep in the fridge that would be much better out of it, so here is a quick guide, I am sure you will think of lots of other things as well.

Onions	Placing your onions inside your refrigerator will eventually end up turning them moldy and soft. Unpeeled onions should be kept out of plastic bags and fridge. One of the reasons for this is because unpeeled onions require and need air exposure for maximum life. If you have peeled an onion though, then you should keep it in the fridge, in a covered container.
